Yes! Our Mrs pageants are getting glitzier!
The Mrs Philippines Globe organization invited me to the Sofitel Hotel in Manila to meet and greet the 18 contestants they have in this year’s beauty pageant.
One of these women of beauty and substance will be taking over the crown and scepter from last year’s queen, Joyce Agsaway, a wife, Mom and hotelier. The one thing I love about Mrs Pageants is that the competition is extremely friendly. It seems like becoming wives and moms gives women a deeper sense of value – they value themselves and the things they do more than when they were younger. Many of the contestants in this batch said that they were just happy to be standing in front of the Press folk and being part of Mrs. Philippines Globe 2013 is already a dream come true.
The other thing I love is that these women all have great achievements in their lives as career-women and mothers!

3) Michelle Garcia (Greater Manila Area) 31 yo – 2012 Mabuhay Awards Nominee, 5-Star Hotel Marketing Communications Director, Habitat for Humanity volunteer and supporter of Little Sisters of the Poor.
4) Jane Lorraine Dimaunahan (Greater Manila Area) – 32 yo – Former child actress on Ang TV. Now works as a Patient Care Officer
